Energy centre for the Otium care home in Tromsø

bnr-otium

We have supplied an energy centre to the Otium nursing home which features heat pumps supplied by 20 geothermal wells.

This installation delivers heat to the building and its space heating and hot tap-water system. The home requires 490 000 kWh of heat per annum, and consumes an estimated 420 000 kWh of hot water over a year. A SuperHeat heat pump with CO2 as the refrigerant produces hot water for the whole home.

In addition, the system is designed to deliver refrigeration throughout the year with the aim of reusing as much of the waste heat as possible.
