About us

Manufacturing in Norway and a comprehensive service network allow us to look after customer requirements for quality and delivery precision.

We help to cut energy consumption and increase profitability for our customers in the marine, industrial, commercial and air conditioning markets.

We develop and deliver environment-friendly solutions for refrigeration, freezing and enhancing energy efficiency. We are a substantial supplier to the grocery sector in northern Norway and to the seafood market nationally and internationally.

Chilled and frozen with top taste and nutrient content

We know that the end-product value increases when fish are chilled and frozen while at their freshest and when their nutrient content is at its best. Our solutions also improve operating economics by cutting fuel consumption and working time. In partnership with our customers, we identify the perfect temperature and solutions which are cost-efficient and environment-friendly.

Our marine customers:
White fish vessels, pelagic vessels, well boats and suppliers of factories and processing plants.

Efficient processing and high quality

Our knowledge of efficient production and high quality provides customers with the perfect temperature and the best results. Seeing the overall picture in close cooperation with customers allows us to help enhance end-product value.

Our industrial customers:

Reduce energy costs – a better climate indoors and globally

We are a complete supplier of sustainable temperature and energy solutions.

We have taken the PTG name from the initials of our holding company, Perfect Temperature Group, and adopted the group’s slogan – the value of perfect temperature.

We have been created by integrating the companies Kuldeteknisk, FrioNordica, Kjøleservice Helgeland and Multi Kulde (Bodø).

Tromsø company Kuldeteknisk was founded in 2003 on the basis of refrigeration solutions it had developed for the grocery, fishing, food processing and construction industries. The company has grown substantially, and has attracted much attention for developing freezing technology which is 25 per cent more efficient than traditional solutions.

The company’s legal name is today PTG Kuldeteknisk AS.

FrioNordica was established in 1983 and ranks as Norway’s leading supplier of refrigeration technology for maritime applications. It develops and manufactures refrigerated seawater (RSW) plants and heat pumps for the aquaculture and fishing industries in Norway, Europe and South America. Until its integration in PTG, its head office was at Malmefjorden near Molde, with a branch in Grimstad and a subsidiary in Chile.

The Norwegian company’s legal name is today PTG Frionordica AS.

Kjøleservice Helgeland

Kjøleservice Helgeland was established in 2004 and offers products, service and maintenance, and design for refrigeration/freezing, waterborne heating, heat pumps and air conditioning. It covers the whole Helgeland region of northern Norway, with its head office in Mosjøen and branches in Mo i Rana, Sandnessjøen and Brønnøysund.

Multi Kulde

Multi Kulde in Bodø was established in 1998 and has long experience and broad expertise in design, project management and execution, assembly and construction of complex refrigeration facilities. Multi Kulde AS has a 40 per cent interest in Ålesund-based Multi Kulde Vest, which is in turn the sole owner of Multi Kulde Nordvest in Molde. The company’s legal name is today PTG Multikulde AS.

In December 2021, Norway’s biggest expert on cooling technology PTG became part of the Nordic Climate Group. Established in the spring of 2021, Nordic Climate Group is a holding company consisting of a network of Swedish and Norwegian refrigeration enterprises.
