Expanding Malme\u00adfjorden factory for more than NOK 20 million <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Malme\u00adfjorden branch, part of the former FrioNordica company, accounts for much of the group\u2019s production capacity. In addition to investing in new facilities, the company is investi\u00adgating roboti\u00adsation of work processes to improve capacity and efficiency even further.<\/p>\n

Capacity<\/strong>
\n\u201cInvesting in larger premises and modern production facilities will substantially expand our capacity and efficiency,\u201d says PTG CEO Terje Arnesen. \u201cManufacturing in Norway and a nationwide service network allow us to meet customer require\u00adments for quality, short delivery times and delivery precision.\u201d<\/p>\n

Invest\u00adments<\/strong>
\nHe notes that invest\u00adments are now being made in a number of fish farms on land, and that ever more new vessels are under construction for aquaculture and fishing.
\n\u201cWe\u2019re experi\u00adencing a strong influx of orders in the well boat market, while demand is also high for our solutions aimed at land-based aquaculture \u2013 primarily heat pumps tailored for various require\u00adments, as well as chilling and refri\u00adge\u00adration plants for fish processing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Solid partners<\/strong>
\nArnesen reports that the seafood industry and its suppliers need solid partners who can deliver on time and quality, and that PTG is well positioned with a complete portfolio of sustai\u00adnable tempe\u00adrature and energy solutions for this market.
\n\u201cOur customers greatly appreciate being able to draw on such a large Norwegian centre of expertise in tempe\u00adrature management,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

On land<\/strong>
\n\u201cThere\u2019s a big need for our solutions in today\u2019s smolt plants,\u201d add Arnesen. \u201cThe industry is also raising ever larger smolts on land to shorten time in the sea and thereby obtain stronger fish who are less vulne\u00adrable to lice and disease. We also believe the aquaculture sector will succeed in farming grow-out fish on land, and we\u2019re well positioned for this market.
\n\u201cThe government\u2019s commitment to awarding free licences for grow-out fish farms on land will contribute to this. We want to be in the forefront with our complete refri\u00adge\u00adration, freezing, air conditioning and heating solutions, and are thereby investing in Norwegian jobs, expertise and quality.\u201d<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
