In addition to the appointment of Terje Arnesen as CEO and Milos Golic as CFO, Ketil R\u00f8berg (FrioNordica) has acquired respon\u00ads\u00adi\u00adbility for the marine and industry market area while Martin Schj\u00f8lberg (Kulde\u00adteknisk) will be respon\u00adsible for the commercial and climate market area.<\/p>\n

Building technology group
\n<\/strong>\u201cWe\u2019re very pleased to have secured Arnesen and Golic to continue our work of building a strong technology group to support growth in the global seafood industry,\u201d says Arnstein Gunnestad Endresen, chair of PTG.<\/p>\n

Nord Kapital\u00adfor\u00advaltning is the main share\u00adholder in PTG through Perfect Tempe\u00adrature Group. Partner Anders H\u00f8if\u00f8dt in Nord Kapital\u00adfor\u00advaltning has the following comment on the integration:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re stronger together, and will concen\u00adtrate on devel\u00adoping environment-friendly and energy-efficient solutions with the quality and service our local customers and the global seafood market want.\u201d<\/p>\n

The value of perfect temperature
\n<\/strong>\u201cThe change of name and mergers mark that the groupings will now grow together,\u201d says CEO Terje Arnesen. He explains that the PTG name is an abbre\u00adviation of Perfect Tempe\u00adrature Group and reflects the group\u2019s slogan: the value of perfect temperature.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m impressed by what these companies have achieved through research, product devel\u00adopment, a nationwide service network and production in Norway,\u201d Arnesen adds. \u201cThis will also be the corner\u00adstone of our growth strategy in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Seafood inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnally, groceries nationally
\n<\/strong>\u201cThe seafood market in Norway and inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnally is our highest priority,\u201d says Arnesen.\u200b \u201cWe\u2019ll also be maintaining our commitment to the Norwegian grocery sector.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kulde\u00adteknisk and Kj\u00f8le\u00adservice Helgeland have a very strong position in northern Norway\u2019s grocery market, while FrioNordica has refined its technology for utilising fish natio\u00adnally and inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnally on the basis of production in Norway. Kulde\u00adteknisk and FrioNordica are known for using natural, environment-friendly and efficient refri\u00adge\u00adration media in their solutions.<\/p>\n

Sustai\u00adnable tempe\u00adrature and energy solutions
\n<\/strong>PTG is a complete supplier, devel\u00adoping sustai\u00adnable tempe\u00adrature and energy solutions which are in demand globally.<\/p>\n

\u201cA steadily growing world population needs efficient refri\u00adge\u00adration and freezing solutions,\u201d observes Arnesen. \u201cEnergy is also a signi\u00adficant raw material, and our collective expertise with energy efficiency can contribute to substantial cost and emission reductions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Focus on product devel\u00adopment and high service cover
\n<\/strong>\u201cWe aim to double our turnover during the next few years, not least through continued investment in research and devel\u00adopment,\u201d Arnesen reports. \u201cWe\u2019ll also get more hands-on with new and existing customers geograp\u00adhi\u00adcally, techni\u00adcally and through high service cover both along the Norwegian coast and internationally.\u201d<\/p>\n

Three decades in management
\n<\/strong>Arnesen has 30 years of management experience from industry, primarily with oil service and maritime equipment. He comes now from the post of CEO at Rapp Marine Group, which delivers winch equipment to fishing and research vessels. He contri\u00adbuted in part to the group becoming part of MacGregor and major Finnish group Cargotec in 2018.<\/p>\n

Earlier appoint\u00adments include CEO at Rocksource (oil industry supplier), Bergen Group (shipbuilding), Bennex Group (subsea) and Scana Propulsion (ship\u2019s equipment), and he has 18 years of experience from various management positions in Rolls-Royce Marine.<\/p>\n

Finance and strategy
\n<\/strong>Golic also comes from Rapp Marine Group, where he was CFO in recent years. He earlier worked as deputy CEO and CFO of this group\u2019s Serbian subsidiary.<\/p>\n

His experience includes much work on strategy and growth processes, including last year\u2019s sale of Rapp Marine Group. He has also been a consultant in the inter\u00adna\u00adtional BDO auditing network and financing company Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale.<\/p>\n

New logo
\n<\/strong>The logo and name both build on PTG\u2019s message: the value of perfect tempe\u00adrature.
