Multi Kulde Vest in \u00c5lesund has become a wholly owned subsi\u00addiary of Perfect Tempe\u00adrature Group (PTG) , Norway\u2019s leading centre of expertise for refri\u00adge\u00adration technology and part of Nordic Climate Group.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

This follows the sale of the 60 per cent of the shares in Multi Kulde Vest still held by CEO Peder Knutsen, former principal share\u00adholder in the company. It currently has an annual turnover of about NOK 50 million and 18 employees at depart\u00adments in \u00c5lesund and Molde.<\/p>\n

\u201cI anticipate that we\u2019ll derive great benefits from becoming part of a larger industrial commitment regio\u00adnally, natio\u00adnally and inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnally,\u201d says Knutsen.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a good foothold at small and medium-sized enter\u00adprises in the seafood industry, and becoming part of PTG and Nordic Climate Group will give us even greater weight in this industrial segment.\u201d<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In addition to seafood and other food processing, Multi Kulde Vest directs its services at customers in the grocery sector, hospi\u00adtality, and cold\/freezer stores. It offers everything from design and instal\u00adlation to service, as well as supplying heat pumps.<\/p>\n

The company has been part-owned by PTG since 2019, when the latter acquired Multi Kulde in Bod\u00f8 which also had a share\u00adholding in the \u00c5lesund business.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith Multi Kulde Vest as a full member of the team, we\u2019ve further strengt\u00adhened our position as Norway\u2019s leading supplier of natural coolants,\u201d says PTG CEO Terje Arnesen. \u201cIts experience with CO2 as a coolant will make a big contribution.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u00c5lesund area and the surrounding region of western Norway are among the country\u2019s most important seafood markets, and this transaction will reinforce PTG\u2019s presence there.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur experience has been entirely positive, and taking this step therefore feels quite natural,\u201d says Knudsen. \u201cI\u2019m convinced that we\u2019ll thereby achieve further benefits from internal coope\u00adration in the group.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe colla\u00adbo\u00adration and exchange of experience between the companies in the various countries where PTG and Nordic Climate Group are present is parti\u00adcu\u00adlarly inter\u00ade\u00adsting, and will have a stimu\u00adlating effect for both me and my colleagues.\u201d<\/p>\n

This transaction is part of PTG\u2019s growth ambitions in Norway\u2019s grocery sector, and will also strengthen its service network for the seafood industry along the Norwegian coast.<\/p>\n

\u201cMulti Kulde Vest comple\u00adments us with both expertise and a local presence in M\u00f8re og Romsdal county,\u201d notes Arnesen. \u201cIt\u2019s built up a strong position through projects and service for the grocery sector, which also lays the basis for colla\u00adbo\u00adration with other parts of our group.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nordic Climate Group gives emphasis to helping customers reduce their environ\u00admental impact and maximise their energy efficiency. It plans to continue building a leading north European company, with strong expansion both organi\u00adcally and through further acquisitions.<\/p>\n
